The 4H Why, At 4H Construction & Cattle Co., we specialize in custom homes, large-scale models, and transformative renovations that help homeowners fall in love with their space all over again. Whether we're building from the ground up or reimagining your existing home, our goal is simple: to create homes that make you say, "Let's Stay Home." We also set out to build a business where collaboration thrives, ideas are welcomed, and creative solutions are part of the process. We believe in creating win-win-wins: when our clients win, our subcontractors win-and that's how we win. Relationships are at the heart of what we do. We strive to engage with our clients, suppliers, and subcontractors in ways that are life-giving, purposeful, and mutually beneficial. Get to Know Kyle
Owner, 4H Construction & Cattle Co.
After an honorable discharge from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1999, Kyle jumped into construction with a mission-driven mindset and a strong work ethic. Over the past two decades, his experience has spanned nearly every corner of the industry, residential and commercial, production and custom, serving as both a general contractor and subcontractor.
From 2013 to 2020, Kyle helped grow Crimson Building Company from the ground up. He started as the first non-owner hire and rose to President, helping scale the firm to 30+ employees and over $40 million in annual revenue. Prior to that, he managed large-scale commercial installs in DFW with T. King Building Services and gained hands-on experience with top builders like Village Builders, David Weekley Homes, and Somerset Custom Homes.
Kyle’s leadership, real estate knowledge, and deep respect for trades and clients alike are at the heart of what makes 4H different. He believes that great homes start with clear expectations, honest communication, and strong relationships, from the ground up.
Get to Know Casey
Owner, The Heart Behind the Build
Casey brings both heart and horsepower to 4H Construction & Cattle Co. A proud Texas A&M graduate (Class of 2000) with a BA in Marketing, she later earned her MBA from Texas Christian University in 2007—laying a strong foundation in both business and leadership. Her early career with General Electric took her across the country in a variety of sales and marketing roles, all rooted in the construction industry. While managing a Houston-area territory focused on homebuilders, she crossed paths with Kyle at a David Weekley Homes trade show. Who would’ve guessed that over 20 years later, they'd not only be building homes together, but also building a family and a business rooted in trust, craftsmanship, and community?
Casey brings a natural gift for building relationships. She’s makes sure the vision is clear, the process is smooth, and the experience feels just as personal as it is professional. Together, she and Kyle balance technical know-how with people-first values, delivering a homebuilding and remodeling journey that’s honest, hands-on, and even a little fun.
Family Ties to 4H/FFA
Rooted in the heart of New Braunfels, the Hege family’s ties to agriculture run deep. With their daughters actively involved in FFA and 4H, showing steers, raising chickens, and learning hands-on values they honor a legacy of hard work, responsibility, and community. It’s that same spirit they bring to every home they build.
